We are lucky bastards but the problem with the Barecore is that it's crazy expensive. I guess it's time for me to learn Akira's new moves. So who want's to get together sometime this week?

IMF nice fights at No Mercy. First, I have to go there and beat ass on tourists to get Goh going. No EVO - yet.....

I was just there this afternoon Art, there is no EVO there at all. Just vf3ob in VF4 cabinet. I talked to one of the tech guys named Mario who was working on one of the machines, and he said that EVO will be there next week. Sigh....I knew it would be too good to be true. I really hope the joysticks are good, cause if they aint, im waiting for home version! The chinatown experience truly left a bad taste in my mouth - the joysticks were THAT bad!

Slider, Andy is done with man. No saving that nigga - he hit his head on the canopy too hard while ejecting. As far as im concerned, im flying solo...

I can vouch for the crapines of the Chinatown fair sticks, they gave me cramps after even just one round, horrible placement of buttons.

Out of all the VF machines in the city, CF has the best. Their sticks are not the BEST sticks around mind you, but they are LEAPS and BOUNDS better than anywhere else in NYC. /versus/images/icons/ooo.gif

yeah, the CTF sticks are fine (sure not the best but hey...) what adam meant were the broadway arcade sticks.

Didnt play at the big Broadway arcade, went to CTF and im sorry to say it sucked horribly.

If I were you, I'd adapt to whatever sticks you can get your hands on. Better yet, why don't a few of you guys buy a couple good sticks from Happ, *give* them to the arcade where you like to play to have them installed on the Evo machine. As far fetched as that sounds, the VF4 machine that we played on for our Toronto tournaments and gatherings has all its buttons provided from yours truly.

And Maverick, there's yet to be an announcement regarding when a home version will be made, and on what platform...you could be waiting a while.

Sheesh. I don't want to rub this in, but I'm going to anyway. Doens't it seem like a eutopian idea to have the sticks/buttons as standard as the game itself? This post has definitely tought me to appreciate what I might've taken for granted.
