We're trying to make this into a sizeable event, so there may be an entrance fee. TBD.

Is a console tournament to take place in Philadelphia, Octorber 16-17. There will be a base prize that is yet to be determined for each game. The exact location will be announced shortly on this very thread. VF players please make a good showing, interest in VF is back up again and this could help light a flame in the tri-state area.

Please post if you have any interest in coming! This is a personal thing for me since VF is my favorite game of all time and Philly has no love for it. However with the new ressurgence of interest maybe we can add some meat to the VF masses!

Hey I'll drive up there is this won't interfere with Florida super battle. Wait, fsb is october 11th. so yeah, vf4 evo sounds good to me.

 

I'm looking forward to it. My first VF tourney was at University Pinball at Philly and it was fun.

On just what system do you plan on playing Sam Sho 2 on? IIRC, there's only been the Neo-Geo cart, Neo-Geo CD and a PS version for home release. I heard the PS version was not arcade perfect, but I never played so can't judge.

Just be sure to give us more details as the time approaches.

 

Well, if stomp is driving, perhaps some of us will be able to go with him. = )

Yeah meing, drive up stomp it would be awesome to see the ol HYDRA crew again! Hehe, HYDRA for life, although I'm starting a new posse you all will always have a special place, since you cats took my shit and ran with it. Hell I thought I loved VF, I'm like on 1st base, you all done hit it from the back, the side, and gaver her a dirty sanchez huhuhuhu.

You even whored up some of those people Northwards if you know what I mean, gets me all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. Too bad they ain't letting you in anymore or whatever. Sounds like a cop out to me.

SS2 will be run on the AES, the neo-geo home system. Surprisingly a lot of people have wanted to do some competitive SNK playing, but noones taken them seriously until now.

Hell even I thought SNK peeps were all about talking about characters clothes, and who the big boob ninja chick is boning. But I'm glad to have it cause SS2 is the shizzle.

When you talk about NYC, you could be directing your words to everyone here in the vf community. And since I have never had a problem with anyone and I don't go looking for a problem with anyone.
