Ode to MasterPO

Over the Allehgheny mountains,
past the mist of Sharon
deep in the Mahoning Valley
there is rumored to live an
old virtua fighter monk
Some say he is the father of
all virtua fighter styles
while others proclaim he's a myth
Its been said he's never played the game
And only a very few can put a face with the name
Yet others tell stories of an old monk
with amazing skills
unmatched sabaki, inashi, and throw escape thrills
It is said he is part tiger, part dragon
and moves like the wind
he masters loss in order to win.

Moral and abare are both out of his reach,
the old VF monk plays virtua fighter only to teach. but no say some, he's just a freak, a ghost leak, imposter of the week, a single player geek. No one has ever seen him battle real players, all he can beat is the AI say his nay sayers.

Of course there is no monk that can lose as he choose, control duels with stupid rules, or make loss a shaolin martial art tool, you fool

Such a monk would have had to master the game
master his shame, and never fall victim to fame, and resist the flame, of the VFDC claims.

Nevertheless the legend persists of Master Po the old monk with iron fists. It is said there is proof that the old monk is alive, he was seen not long ago at a VF gathering with AKAI and Maddy playing Virtua Fighter Five.

But the witnesses will tell you he's no monk, he's an ordinary man, we dispatched him easily according to plan. They saw no evidence of spectacular play, only an old man with a dpad, whose skillz were in decay.

But of his true kungfu will we ever really know
when he uses his loss as a mirror of your skills
to show, just how far you still have to go when he can decide your every blow, limit to his liking when you throw and end the match only when and how he says so

Oh the legend of MasterPo
the last monk and virtua fighter hero

The story goes, we will see him again
When they release VF5FS in 2012 on PSN
Then, and only then let the hype begin
make him your friend and he might attend
and battle where you contend, and defend,
and in the end, the truth and the myth will
blend, because

So., GodEater, sometimes it is hard to know what protocol
to follow in a world so diverse as ours. After all, its not every day that you get to interact with a bonafide legend and make no mistake about it MasterPo is a legend

Thus you are forgiven. Let me help you out in this case. After reading such a fine Ode as the Ode to MastePO, I believe the proper parlance should have been:

"All hail Master Po"
