Oi Toronto (and Boston)

    and whoever else cares.

    I have basically three weekends left in Montreal, and if I'm going to travel for VF it basically has to happen this weekend, May 7 - 9.

    I know this is extremely short notice, but if we can arrange something then that would be sweet. I know we talked about meeting in Toronto for the retro gathering. Is that doable this weekend?

    Some people from Boston (Rich, Jerky, anyone else?) expressed interesting in going too. Is this too short notice for you guys?

    Other alternatives that I'm willing to entertain include travelling to Boston again (both Boston and TO are the same distance for me), or even having you all up here in Montreal. I could house 3 guys comfortably (i.e. will have a bed to sleep on) and anyone else willing to sleep on the floor. You could also chip in and get a cheap room in the same hotel I'm staying in for convenience.

    I'm also open to any other ideas.

    I'm only leaving for NC on Monday (at 6:40 ugh...), so if someone needs a couch/air matress I can help. I have one couch, and I think 3 matress' so gimme a shout in case of need.

    Hey hey - unfortunately this weekend is completely booked solid...mother's day, my dad's birthday, etc. On top of all that, I'm frickin' still sick - when will it end? /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

    Anyway, I realise that this weekend is Mother's day, but I was planning to leave early on Sunday, which hopefully wouldn't have intruded on any Mother's day plans.

    I'll wait to see what the others say, but there's a very small chance that I may be able to go next weekend instead (May 14-16). If that weekend is better/preferred, then let me know.

    i definitely can't do anything this coming weekend. i could...but i need to work. i need to work, get money for food. that sort of irritating bullshit.

    i probably won't be able to do anything the next weekend...but maybe.

    If all goes well I plan on moving the 15th so I'll have a spare appartment for a while. So if the meet is held in Montreal, on Saturday I'll have my appartment available for someone. Now how's that for accomodations! /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

    may 14-16th I could *possibly* squeeze in some VF time but I'm not positive. I know saturday is a bust because I booked in some seminars in the afternoon and then I'm hanging out with friends.

    Friday is likely my best day.

    If I were to drive to Toronto, I'd probably arrive late Friday night and leave early-ish on Sunday, which leaves very little, to almost no, opportunity to play you GE. My primary reason for going to TO was for the retro thing as well, but it's looking like it won't happen.

    kbcat, we have some unfinished (vfdc) business too!

    At this rate, I may end up going to Boston again instead. Jerky, Shang, you guys available this weekend?

    I wouldn't say there's no chance at all, but I will have to confirm with you next week, so I hope that's not too short a notice. My weekends are fast running out and I have a deadline and return flight that I must meet.

    It's looking like I'll go to Boston this weekend then.
