Ok, what gives? Won a ranking match and still didnt go to 2nd Dan.

    I've been 1st Dan for a week. I finally got to a ranking match (against Sarah). I won 3 matches to 1 match. Still on 1st Dan. Is something wrong with my game or am I doing something wrong? Please help. Thanks in advance.

    Your computer opponents are eligible for ranking matches as well.

    Are you sure the ranking match was your or the computer's?

    You need to beat the "SAME" dan 5 times to advance.

    You need to beat the "SAME" dan 5 times to advance.

    Only if you don't lose to the same dan level opponents. If you had lost to another 1st dan, then you would need to beat 6 1st dans to get promoted to 2nd dan. You need to get 5 "victory points" to advance.
