    WHOOOO YUP!

Good news too. This year the Olympics and the internetz teamed up so that at any moment, 25 different events will be live streamed. So no more missing out on teams/sports we want to see but aren't televised.

I love the Olympics, both Summer and Winter. Just love the atmosphere of all the countries coming together.

The trials were great! Though i was disappointed in several decisions in the gymnastics area. Shit Hamm was selected and the dude hasn't done anything in 6 months or so. There was another major disappointment with Raj making 3rd but not getting picked for the team, just an alternate, WTF?

Then track with Gay running the 9.69, BEAST. I cant wait for the games to start.

Yeah, said it will be on the official international one. I think some other sites are doing their own thing and mirroring some streams but they said all would be from the main site.

I prefer Winter olympics, because Austria is better in Wintersports. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

^ Haha yeah, Austria has beastly athletes for the Winter Olympics. Skiing namely but many other sports as well.

Austria tends to have some good weightlifters and sharpshooters though yeah? Not huge sports in the Olympics now but still something to cheer on /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Yeah, but I think Austrian athletes have not a good stamina.

MSNBC has said they will stream the TKD, Judo, boxing, fencing, wrestling events. Its too bad that some of the sports that were originally in the Olympics (boxing and wrestling)barely get any recognition.

Yeah, I think their whole reason was the Olympics is a symbol of unity and peace, and they don't want the "violent" sports disturbing that image. But even in those sports, there's sportsmanship and respect, so I don't really agree with that thinking.

lol I'd say you can find alot of sportsmanship and respect in the so called "violent" sports, ignorance or failure to promote this on the committee's side is laughable, obvious bias at work with the powers that be..
