/versus/images/icons/smile.gif Man I've been waiting for it and it is finally here. This post is for thoughts on Onimusha & Onimusha2. So lets hear what u have to say about it. For the fans of Oni, do u think its gonna be better or lamer than part one.

i dont have the original onimisha yet but i am waiting for the sequel then i will probably buy them both,i hear good things about the game and even better about the sequel,does anyone know when it lands in uk shores,BTW is onimisha better than devil may cry????

Damn, I can't wait to get my hands on this game, I have the first 1 and have literillay killed it, but it was too short, maybe the 2nd ones longer!!! /versus/images/icons/blush.gif

 

i have to agree about the first one, its really short, everything about it was good except of how short it is, hopefully that will change in the sequel.

 

Man I just got my hands on it and it is detaled like a mofo. I haven't gotten far yet but the story has already brought me in. I just wish they had Saminosuke in this one too. Man Capcoms graphics in this game are crazy. Like Final Fantasy X. But hey Redhead, If you haven't beat part one yet then u shoudn't play the second part even though the characters are dif. the story links. But as as for Onimusha being better than Devil may Cry. Hell Yeah its better. Devil May Cry had lot of nice combos and moves but the story was not all that great. And it was really short. Onimusha didn't have all the combos but it had cool moves. Onimusha 2 has the combos like DMC and the new main character Jubie can turn into the Onimusha (Dare Devil Warrior) Much like Dante's demon form. Saminosuke only turned into the Onimusha once in the game and that was in a movie. Man U gots to play it. Hope things clear up for u guy's in the UK though.

hey man i heard onimusha 2 is three times the length of the original,and there are four extra characters you can make friends with and play as.and i think the story branches with each character you chose to help you, /versus/images/icons/grin.gif

 

i heard in my local ops2 magazine that jubei could kick dantes ass anyday what do you think ???well anyway has any of you seen the trailer for DMC2 its gonna rock!!!hes got a new partner as well. /versus/images/icons/ooo.gif

 

I think Samanosuke could kick Jubie and Dante's ass, but as for the other characters on Onimusha 2 I like the Gunsman. He's the coulest partner in the game. There are 4 in all and they help u out like in FF. But as for the trailer to DMC2 Ican't wait to see it. The first part was cool. But the ending sucked. I liked the combos and Monsters in the game.
