Online Wolf training

Anyone interested in helping me up my game with Wolf?

I know, and can perform, all of his moves now, but for me to get to grips with what is safe and unsafe with the guy I need to play against someone who already knows him.

I have a serious problem with performing unsafe moves with Wolf at the moment.

Something that was shown to me by a friend of mine who plays as Kage. Some serious punishment going on there.

Another problem I have been having is that I am playing a wide variety of different skilled players.

Something which works against the computer and some players doesn't work at all against someone worth their chips.

And seeing as I play against people of my skill level and people above my skill level rarely I find it hard to truly advance as a player.

So this is a cry for help.

 

I'd be glad to train with you, but an easy way to find out what's safe for Wolf is to look here:

Switch the list from Akira to Wolf and you can see all of Wolf's moves. Look in the GRD column to find out how safe each of your moves are. Keep in mind throws start up in 12 frames, so doing moves with less disadvantage than -12 is a good idea.

If you want help i recommend trying to get ahold of cheif flash. Hes a very nice wolf player

 

don't play with mariodood he will pull the plug on you if you do more than 3 rising attacks in a match

I helped one wolf player named woodchipper (I think he is from montreal, plays a lot of fighting games).

He was having problems with mashers and with my limited experience with wolf I showed him a fun thing you can do to mashers with wolf.

The low punch interrupts strings which puts you in position to do the from crouch elbow, the elbow is 16 frames so even on normal hit low punch you can beat a lot of his stuff, the mid punch causes a crumple combo from the stagger, and then you low throw him for half his life. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Obviously not something that will work on decent players but it can help you have fun with mashers, maybe even open there mind to learning the game right. Wolf pwnage!

A lot of people online don't know throw escapes either.
