Orbs

Hey, Im a kage player and its my goal in life to get the scary mask, but Im having problems collecting the last orb(black in my case). Obviously its a pretty random deal to play people with the different orbs, but I was wondering if anyone knew any arcades where theres a few black orbing.. players. Thanks alot.

When you complete the tourney in the last arcade, WMAC II (*cringe*) will open up in the event square. Chibita & Heruru have the orb. The quickest way to get the orb from here is to exit the tourney if you see that you aren't either paired with one of them or at least in their bracket. Chibita tends to make it deep in the tourney so you have a fair shot at facing him in the semis/finals if you don't feel like exiting the tourney over and over & feel lucky.

Better yet. Get a buddy into the game & when he scores the orb the first time around, fight him for it...a single item match vs your friend > quest mode

 

After your current life goal is completed, I predict your next one will be to get 100% completion for Kage; see that orbs are counted towards completion, you'll have to gather all seven once again. If you got the black orb from Chibita the first game, don't JUST look for Heruru cuz Chibita will not have lost his black orb for some reason, so another win against Chibita and you've got yourself the black orb again. And welcome to the boards, you'll find that a lot of the questions you'll have are already under discussion. Use the search key, it's your new best friend on this site. (for example if you type in 'orbs' into the search engine, you'll see that this topic has already undergone more than 3 discussion)

If you don't feel like risking your neck at the WMAC (I know I don't!) both Chibita and Hururu have been known to hang around at Sega World North. Its more of a wait, but if you have a quest order or two to finish there, or want to rack up a few more wins it might be worth it.

Not long back I had the idea of joting down where I saw people with orbs, in order to give myself a guide. Its woefully incomplete, and as accurate as jotting down the information quickly before I got low punched to death, but it might help someone, somewhere.
