1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

I just found this site and was excited to see that people are playing VF4 in my back yard. I live close to Lloyd Center and always have a $20 in my pocket (I am not the best, but am willing to pump the quarters into the machine). I would love to play against someone who could teach me a thing or two. I am available to play nearly any night around 7:00.

    SLA & chingDude,

Thanks for the advice. I went to both sites and put up a plea to play, then I stopped by Lloyd Center last night and saw that there is a tournament this Saturday the 27th at 1:00 in the tilt. I guess I will finally meet the other VF adepts in head to head competition. I encourage others to show up for the fights, so that we can get a community of live comptetion started (once you collect all your hats, kumite can get a little old).

PS- I read somewhere that the VF4 in the Lloyd Tilt is a Ver B
machine as compared to the PS2 being a Ver C. Is there any threads where I can read up on the difference between the versions? I need whatever advantage I can have.

    Thanks, MNGL

BTW, you can thank Boston's own Shang for the 3/5 setting on versus at Lloyd Center/versus/images/icons/wink.gif

Originally, the machine was set at 2/3 rounds with 250 life (200 life is standard). When Shang came to town, we bugged someone at Tilt to change it to 3/5 with 200 life (standard). Ever since, it's had those nice settings/versus/images/icons/smile.gif

PS I'm really looking forward to meeting you tomorrow and seeing everyone.
