They were pretty much trying to kill everyone already, so i'm not sure what their revenge involve. My worry is that at least you knew what you were getting with Bib Laden. Who is gonna be in charge of them now and what will they do? Not knowing is dangerous. Glad he's dead, anyway.

The Navy Seals are some bad hombres you do not fck with the Seals. Which makes me wonder, Socom 4 is all about the Seals, maybe for DLC we'll get an get "osama bin laden" mission that would be sweet [IMG]

Somehow, I don't think Bin Laden will be enjoying any kind of coitus with 70 virgins as the Koran promised (or is rumored to have promised) Yep tomorrow is not on his calendar today. He's fish food now, dead, deceased, expired, permanently off duty, and the Heaven that he thought he was going to does not exist.

totally dude. this wasn't a massive waste of time or anything.

Now they can finally focus on what matters: nail clippers, shampoo and deodorant for airport carry on.

in real news: nothing has changed. update every hour.

Not at all but maybe people here can concentrate on whats important and stop trying to blame external forces from their inability to succeed in life. [IMG]

Today I woke up and heard that Osama Bin Laden is dead. Tonight I want to hear that everyone will be home by September 10th. Or, better yet, the ones that stay get put to put away their guns and pick up some hammers and shovels. Let's build. Abroad and at home. Roads. Schools. Hospitals. Homes. That's how we can help make this country and the whole world great.

The world can be a safer place indirectly.

Since Bin Laden is dead, morale improves especially in the knowledge that some of those lost, weren't totally in vain. It is also proof that perpetrators can't always hide forever, so that can also make some individuals hesitant or stop outright, if they were on the fence in an act of terrorism.

Should he not have been held accountable for his actions?

There is that aspect, sure but that comes down to how far will one go to get revenge. Like getting in a fight on the street these days where it's rare that someone can just take an ass whippin outright. They will come back next time with a knife or a gun if you made them look bad. Today's gangs are simply a microcosm of the worlds terror situation. Has gang violence stopped? no way.
Once again, I do agree that it sends a strong message and might give some potential future members second thoughts but there will always be plenty others out there to fill their shoes.

The way I look at it is taking out osama to end terror was like blowing up the original McDonalds in order to kill the chain. Terror groups nowadays are spinoffs and franchises.

Lmfao, some of you guys are funny. It's like it doesn't matter at all whether Osama was caught or not.
Like the guy who pulled the trigger shoulda backed off and said "what is this going to do? nothing, you know what, I'm not going to kill Osama because it does nothing."

Like someone here said, should he not have been punished? Maybe we should have given him some more money and weapons instead of a bullet to the head. I have no interest in getting deeper with the subject of how jacked up our government is, I'm just happy that whatever deal we had with him is now over and he is dead... I won't lie, I am a bit of a conspiracy theorist and I'm not even sure that he is dead for certain... but... for now believing that he has been killed helps to bring closure and a bit of peace for me, personally.

For those wondering why it matters to the rest of the world, it's as simple as a word called justice.
It's been long overdue but it finally caught up to Osama.

My million dollar question is: Why isn't there any footage of him anywhere since this sighting/killing??? All that was said was "he's been shot dead" and "his body was thrown in the ocean"... Saddam was captured, held captive, tried, and executed on tv... There's visual evidence of that, but why not Osama??? I'm not knocking those cats who shot him, 'cause real talk, I would've done the same thing and hats off to them... But something just doesn't sit well with me about the whole thing. Seeing isn't always believing that's for sure, but when the govt's involved, it damn well better be some show and tell...
