Oscars: Lord of the Rings 11 for 11 <------ OWNAGE

    Damn... LOTR owned the oscars, beating out Mystic River (which I thought was a slightly better movie) and Lost in Translation (a movie I have yet to see). I knew that Sea Biscuit had no chance of winning movie of the year and neither did The Last Samurai.

    I didn't see Mystic River, but I have to say that LOTR is really the epic fantasy for our time. When I watch it, it feels like one of those magical trilogies, such as Back to the Future or Indiana Jones, or even the original Star Wars.

    I'm really happy that although in the past, the acadamy has been biased when it comes to fantasies, that they picked LOTR. It was just a beautiful movie all around. =)

    the only thing that spoiled LOTR was/were its ending(s). P. Jackson had no idea how to end it... he went through about 5 different endings which sorta spoiled the moment, but its a great movie, i agree.

    "LOTR has been nominated 11 times... one for each ending" LMAO Billy Crystal was gold LMAO
