Over 1500 items in Evo

Just a quick news blurb from Gamefront. Over 1500 items are in Evo. If they are spread somewhat evenly, that means over 100 for each character. Aoi held the record with 52 items in PS2 v. C, so it's double that.
Just hope that custom character problem has a workaround, would suck for gatherings if you couldn't use your own charas... /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

 

I wonder if that number takes into account all the things you can buy in quest mode, like new wallpapers for the shell, outfit color variants, and hair dye (wasn't there something like that in arcade evo?).

 

From what I've seen so far, there doesn't seem to be alot of items for each character.. It must be that more will become available as you rank up and win more tournaments in quest mode. I can't wait to see all the crazy items in PS2 evo!
