You might want to bring some warmer clothes when you visit. It might be climbing back into the 60's this week, but next week looks like winter is coming. 50's at best. All the other times that we've had visitors it's been summer or early fall/late spring.

Hehe... that's nothing ice-9! Right now in Detroit, we're in the low 40s, and the temperature will continue to drop to the 30s by late night. I think a strong cold front has blown through middle part of the country over the last 24 hours, causing these sudden low temperatures. And currently, weathermen are indicating that this might not be the only strong cold front we will be getting over the next few days. *sigh* Winter might be arriving early this year...

By the way... are you guys taping your matches at the Omaha gathering? Please say you are! I'm starving for VF action, but I haven't played VF3tb competitively since the Chicago gathering. Since I haven't been playing VF3tb lately, I at least want to see high-level VF action shown in some kind of form... preferably by videotape.

    I love coldness!

Yes, the Chicago too is in 40's and 30's. The winter is finally coming again. I cannot wait until the temperature drops to 20's and the snow.
If it is below 0, that may be a bit too much.

I grew up in the place where the summer is 1-month long, and the snow accumulates higher than the 2nd floor of the building, thus explains my love of coldness.

I come from a country that's 25-30 degrees Celcius (that's about 70-80 Farenheit?) all year long, so this weather is really cold to me!

Be glad you're not coming in February then. The average temp here is about 15 degrees with a wind chill of about -25 F. On average. Sometimes it's colder, though this last year I think we had a week above freezing.
