yea this post is being half made in anger, but it needs to be said, I'm pretty much fucking done with games, I'll play when opportunity presents itself, but fuck a person in the gaming community cause most of them don't understand when it's serious time and when it's not, so I'm fucking done.

 

this post reminds me of the recent topic about the WoW funeral. I think there's a lot of childish shit in the gaming community, and a lot of really great stuff, too. Problem is the childish attitudes keep gaming down with a kind of "lowest common denominator" effect.

Sorry to hear you're discouraged, I've felt that way at times too. I myself usually only play games once every week or two at this point (trying to focus more on my baby, family, art, career etc).

Even though I never got to meet you, people here in California said your Brad was one of the highlights of the gathering here in March, so you'll be missed I imagine.

I read your "bad day" post about the oil tank. I'm guessing someone you game with purposely allowed your heating oil to pour everywhere.

That's fucked up.
