Pirated Joysticks

This was just brought to my attention by my local retailer...

It appears that now, u can even buy pirated hori sticks!
Meaning, u might thinking ' oh original box...logos...etc etc etc'....but actually u just got ur money ripped off by someone who sold u a pirated stick.

Personally I was shocked (actually I shouldn't be...>.<) , but the retailer showed me a comparison of an original stick n a pirated one...

The similarity is uncanny.

Right now, only SC2 sticks are 'copied'. Evo sticks are not AFAIK.

So if u guys are buying online, be careful

 

That's certainly surprising... although I guess it's not so shocking when you really think about it. Asian knockoff masters will crappily remake anything as long as they can get a mold for it.

What I'm curious about is the quality of the sticks and buttons, though. Are they cheapo remolded junk or did they actually put spare arcade parts into it?

Then i remember how supposedly un-copyable GD rom was.

I swear, the biggest hurdle anyone has to pass is the box itself.

It's done spot on!

I didn't get a chance to look at the stick...but in two days time, I will go down there n have a 'go' at it. ^0^
