PLAY! A Video Game Symphony

I had the pleasure of attending PLAY! tonight and was just wondering if anyone else has been able to attend (assuming they've been touring through your city).

I can't quite describe the feeling of listening to a world class symphony playing video game music live. I literally had the chills when they were playing the theme from Shen Mue (on the verge of tears even!) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Our special guest in Sydney was Akira Yamaoka. I hadn't known about him before tonight, but he is the producer of Silent Hill 3 and 4, and has worked on the sound and music of other Konami franchises. Tonight, we were treated to Akira playing the electric guitar to the Silent Hill theme with the Sydney Symphony. It fucking rocked!

If you get the chance to see this symphony, then do it!
