    Anything is fine with me, but if it's more convenient for everyone to just order food at Plague's place, then let's do that rather than hassle with moving people about, especially if people are arriving at different times.

    As for my schedule, I arrive at LAX around midday, on Friday and will leave Monday evening. While I'm in LA I'll be staying with spotlite, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of opportunity to get me into Outback, or Claim Jumpers, or wherever else you had in mind phoenix /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    60 east, pass 15, exit Van Buren, turn right (south), go a LONG way, pass Arlington, go a bit more, right on California, right on Hole. It's on the right after a couple streets.

    Get back to my house...
    Left on Hole, left on California, left on Van Buren, pass Arlington, pass Clay, EXIT Limonite (it actually looks like a freeway exit), right on Limonite, left on Pedley (comes up right away), pass some stop signs, right on Mission (traffic light), right on Agate, left on Wild Pony.

    Use mapquest for directions, too.

    Of course stuff near Alex's place might be fine. If you do go to Ancho's, though, I recommend steak fajitas.

    Hey Plague... I was really looking forward to going, but unexpectedly, there was a family emergency I have to attend to on Friday and Saturday. I'm kind of bummed out but I'll hopefully see a lot of you at EVO2K4 ... =)

    just wanted to say thanks plague. my bro and i had a great time. and while the drive from san diego sucked /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif, it was well worth it to actually play someone else besides the comp and my bro. my little bro was really shocked at how everyone there played. he told me how intimidating it was watching andy, spotlite, and myke.
    well ggs everyone. kris and i are looking forward to seeing everyone and playing at the next gathering. peaceout.

    Glad you both had a good time. Check the SoCal thread from time to time to find out about the next get-together.

    New subject. Catherine's blue Evo stick doesn't work any more. I heard some peple talking about it during the evening. Did it ever work that night? I knew the punch button was having trouble the last few months. Now the PS2 doesn't recognize the whole controller. Does anyone know what usually causes this? Broken wires? Shorted circuit board? Etc

    I'm not looking to say anyone broke it, or anything like that. I just want to know if it stopped working while someone was using it or if it just never functioned at all that night.

    Some of you may not know this yet, but Joey has moved away to Illinois, for probably at least a year. He does plan on visiting socal some.

    Hey guys, things have been rather hectic for me since I've returned, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who took some time out that weekend I was in town.

    Thanks Plague for having us over and being such a gracious host. And thanks again to all who made it out there to play.

    I have to thank spotlite again for letting me impose on him during my stay. His generosity was greatly appreciated.
