I am having problems playing my DVDs on my TV through my laptop. Both my TV and laptop have S-video connections. I currently have an S-Video cable connected to both of them. On my TV, I can see my desktop wallpaper, however, when I play my DVD in Windows Media Player or InterVideo Win DVD player, it only plays in that on the laptop and the picture is not broadcast on the TV. What am I doing wrong? /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Well, I did make my TV the primary monitor however, what I'm wanting to do basically is mirror what's on my Laptop to the TV.

check ur screen properties. Right click on desktop > properties and check what state the monitor is. OR perhaps try dragging the Windows media player off the screen. Monitor might be set to dual screen.
