Please comment on your buying experience from yesasia

I want to buy some items from yesasia.com. If you have any comments regarding their service, please post them. I did a search and couldn't find any opinions.

 

I have ordered a few things from them before, and I don't see and problems or risks that should worry you. They are based in the US pretty much, so you shouldn't have any problems at all. I would recommend them. However, as with all the glitz comes a price. You do pay a certain amount of premium for the service, the gigantic website, etc... So if you want the lowest prices, maybe you can look else where or even order directly from asia. In most cases, if you can find the right retailers, ordering direct from asia is alot cheaper than you would think, even with shipping cost included!!

 

Well, cross your fingers, but I just ordered from yesasia, ordered the Red Hori VF4:Evo stick.

We'll see how it turns out.

 

Thanks for the info. I did some checking around but was able to qualify for free shipping from yesasia. They also had both my items in stock so I went with them.

 

Well, update: It's been 2 weeks, no reply on my order. I'm starting to get pissed. How'd you do Plague?

 

Excellent experience.

Pre-ordered two items. First item released December 9th (GT4 Prologue), second item released Dec 17th (Guitar Freaks 10th Mix Soundtrack). Items shipped together (as per my request to qualify for free shipping) on the 17th. In the USA by the 19th. At my house the 22nd.

You should be able to track your order online.

i ordered wonderful days, and the soundtrack, from yesasia... had no problems. got here within a week. it was reccomended to me by someone else who said they order from there all the time and never had a problem.

 

Play-asia is great, would use ncsx more often but I live in NYC so the tax and shipping were killing me when ordering from them. Even though NCSX is great and everything.

 

Update on my order from YesAsia.

Ordered on December 4th. Today they finally shipped out my order, on the 5th.

Needless to say, I'm not pleased.
