Possible PS4 controller?

Saw this and thought I would share.

I'll be honest, it's not as bad as what was shown for the PS3 when it first came out but it looks cluttered and like something Nintendo would put out.
Here's a reminder for those who forgot what the initial PS3 controllers were going to be.

I like the new one that comes with dev kits.

I wasn't aware of the new consoles coming out until a few weeks ago.

I'm excited to see what VF6 will look like, and even more glad that Final Showdown is here to tide me over!

Devkit controller looks like someone's bad idea of a joke, headphone jack, big ass fucking light, touch pad and a speaker?

I want a controller that is comfortable to hold/grip and then some buttons would be nice. Not some asshat idea Sony's apes cooked up to compete with the Iphone generation.

 

There are a lots of rumors about a touchscreen in the new ps4's pad.

 

Pretty amusing to see across various forums today a horde of Sony fan-boys typing in gleeful caps over a headphone jack on a pad. Have they really become that desperate?

 

Yeah. I started peeping NeoGAF, since one of the guys in our crew is a mod there, and....yeah, lol.

There two lines, one was "Jump out of the box." the other was about a Playstation reveal on 2/20 and people started going ape shit, saying "Sony is back!" and other sorted dumb shit.

I'm just like -_- .....

 

*facepalm* Just an HONEST thought, you didn't click the link I posted did you? Just read the comment and saw the PS3 controller thinking I was referring to that abomination as the "possible PS4 controller".

Anyway from how that thing (and that thing behind THAT thing) looks, I will say it is devkit controller. There where even uglier versions in the past

 

That's why I put "Possible and ?" into the title.
I actually like the one piece D-pad, it reminds me of the Dreamcast D-pad which I loved.
I also like the look of the thumb pads as well, they look comfortable so those are aspects that I hope they keep. Aside from that the controller looks bulkier and cluttered.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens at release.

 

While the design of that devkit controller may not be what we get at retail it's functions and features most probably are.

So we'll all have torches, speakers, touchpads and tea stirrers built into our iphone6 PLAYSTATION 4 controller, yay

 

I like it. It's not much of a deviation from what we have now (which I like), the headphone jack thing might make it easier to use earphones without having tautness on the chord, and as long as the touchscreen is either mostly an optional gimmick, or is very responsive and precise (such that games aren't ruined trying to make the frigging sensor read your motions properly), then I'll be happy enough.

I'd much rather have this than some massive overhaul that turns it into a horrible XBOX style PoS.

 

Why can't the controller stay the same
