I agree. If this turns out to be true then it smacks of the drama we had last year with the home port of VF5. I'm betting that it'll be a "timed" exclusive. There's just too much money in going multi-platform and I can't imagine Sony paying the big bucks to keep VF to themselves.

Hhmmm, weird stuff those figures on vgchartz.

I think its very telling that 56 members of the site have the PS3 version and 32 have the 360 version. Assuming about 90% of the members are American should put those figures in reverse due to the solidity of the 360 in the States, but it doesn't. So even in 360 heavy America the PS3 version sold more than the 360 version, there's your reason Sega would go to PS3 first (or only) right there.

Of course many PS3 owners bought VF5 because it was one of the best early titles (launch title in Europe even). It's a proven that people buy sequels though, so the PS3 is a safer bet that way. On the other hand they're going up against Playstation mainstay Tekken next year, whereas the 360 has no 3d fighters planned after SC4.

I only have a PS3, so I'm really happy. Hope it comes to Xbox360 too.

Pleaaase, let this be true. ^^

The network is a lot more developper dependent. Live is steady but has severe guide lines and rules, PSN has no real guide lines... for good or bad...

If it was PS3 exclusive, how can I not buy a PS3??? I would have to.

If it ends up it's between waiting until a 360 version is released or just ponying up for PS3, I'd probably end up just getting the PS3 to save myself the wait. If it was released later on 360 and the XBOX version is better, I'd just go ahead and pick that up too...

    I'm a pretty sorry case I guess...

the ps3 has a youtube api that lets developers upload game videos from the game. Pixeljunk Eden will be one of the first ps3 games to have it.

hopefully VF5R will use the ps3's youtube api for uploading replays

yea hopefully it wont. You realise how much of a pain it will be to search for quality matches when all you can find is scrubby online matches.

Ill get both versions if it comes out like I have both now. I just need to mod my VSHG to work on 360 too!

that's bad thinking imo, because the more matches up, that's actual marketing for the game itself. scrubby or not.

I just hope the release is for both systems. I really don't want to purchase another stick just for my ps3. I also don't want to wait 6+ months for an xbox release if I choose to save money on a stick lol.

I'm gonna wait for a 360 release, just like I did with the current VF5.

It wouldn't make sense other than time exclusive, to not release a 360 version. Especially since AM2 already has the framework for VF5 on both consoles.

The EU sales. But still 360 sales are lower than the PS3 sales.
