I only play strictly two people. I gave up on Lei Fei. I liked him a lot but it affected my game with Jacky and Pai. I played so much of him that I barely could play with teh other two. Lei Fei is a trict character. If you use him and wish to be the best you can with him, drop anyone else and devote practice to him alone. Anyways...

Once people stopped playing Street Fighter II Champion Edition, I thought my fighting days were done. Now I've discovered VF4 and the universe of fine people that go along with it. Anyway, my character set is limited, since I prefer to stick with a character until I've fully mastered them:

1. Akira, a.k.a. "Ryu" (a nod to my SF2CE heritage): 8th dan, moving upward steadily, and he looks studly in his black sunglasses and Hakama-style outfit...

2. Sarah, a.k.a. "Top Biatch": Just started with her, so she's only 1st Dan, but her record looks promising (43-1).

That's all for now. Like I said, I'm a simple player. Let's hear more stuff about Akira! No one seems to play with him anymore...

well i created only 4 characters specifically for kumite mode with there own special names. I then created other profiles for every single character that I plan to use only against real human opponents. My kumite ring names are:

jeffry - rodnutz
akira - rodnutz
kage - rodnutz

/versus/images/icons/smile.gif /versus/images/icons/smile.gif /versus/images/icons/smile.gif /versus/images/icons/smile.gif sorry i couldn't resist replying to this post. lol anyways i just didnt see the point in creating goofy names, even though i really, really tried /versus/images/icons/frown.gif . Just RODNUTZ(nickname) for kumite mode, and OMAHA JEFFRY for human opponents.

Sorry, not very original I know, but I think in Japan, most players use the same ring name for all their VF.net characters too...

Ponzu (in Katakana... a Japanese soy-citrus sauce)
Katsuo (in Katakana... a Japanese fish used for sushi)
Fei Dao (in Kanji... "flying knife", the Chinese translation of FeixaQ)

Since the game has such fanciful names I thought it would be kind of a waste to have cool sounding names, so I went with the flo and had a laff or two.

Lion - FrenchFry (he's from france... and hes tiny)
Wolf - GunnaHurt (cant help it... when I play him I say "thats gunna hurt" when I bust out a chain throw)
Lau - Wheeeee (I go completely insane and say that too)
Kage - WhereDGo (always playing the foot game with him)
Lei - Poser (obvious double entendre)
Jacky - BruiseLei (Jeet kune Do... and my main Lei stomper)
Akira - BaitNTackL (set the trap and slam them to death)
Pai - Jiggles (ever seen pai on the roof stage with a black top?)
