Pre- and Post- E8 gatherings

I posted this in the E8 thread, but I decided I'd bring it up again here, and it's easy for it to get lost in all the tourney talk.

My folks seem OK with a gathering at my house (in Cedar Rapids, IA) the night before E8 (Friday) and/or the time after the VF4E tourney's run its course. I'm just wondering how many E8-goers would want to spend time playing VF at at my house, so I can know how to set up. We may need extra chairs and whatnot... and we will need extra consoles, for sure. I only have one PS2, after all.

Questions I'd like to get answered:
Who all will come, and how many people will be here in total?
Who can bring extra systems? (E8 itself would benefit from people willing to let their PS2 be used, as well.)
If, for some reason, I can only do this one night, which would be better, Friday or Saturday night?
What snacks do you all like? ^^

Me and Tx Lion should be able to make it no matter what night it is. Fri or Sat. Both nights sound good though in case some can't make both.

So count us in.
And we can bring a System/Evo game,13" TV.

 

I *SHOULD* be able to do something on both nights unless circumstances dictate otherwise. I get the feeling the VF4 tourney at E8 isn't going to run all the way until midnight, so we'll probably be heading back to my place on Saturday earlier at night.

If anyone wants driving directions from the hotel to my place, PM me. Otherwise, we can just play carpool/follow my car home. ^^

 

OK, folks, it looks like the official gathering will be on Saturday night, since most people will be leaving to come here on Friday. If you want to stop by my place and play VF for a little while on Friday evening, that's fine, but notify me ahead of time via PM so I can give you directions and whatnot. I'll also be going to bed early that night in preparation for the event on Saturday, so you won't be hanging around TOO late. ^^;
