Project: Translating the japanese VF5FS guide

I found some scans on the internet and it was a really interesting source of informations and strategy for VF5FS. I think it would be a good if everyone could access thoses informations but unfortunately it's in Japanese.
Hopefully I can translate it in English but it's a huge work so I'll do it eventually if other peoples speaking Japanese could help me.

I'll also need somebody to correct my broken English since i'm not a native speaker.

 

Sounds like a good Idea.
My Japanese is just o.k., but Im farily safe with text and Kanjis since I also speak Chinese.
My English is also good, so if youd like, id be glad to help you.

If you're talking about the Masters Guide, keep in mind that it's outdated material. I don't think that the strategy stuff in it was very good, either.

 

Let me know if you all need scans. I have a copy of the master guide and already scanned some character sections to PDF for use on my tablet

 

Pretty much already done the Lei section, it's been in his forums for about 1.5-2 years.

 

Can someone add the eileen section to the threads?

 

So someone said it's outdated but I guess the general strategy could be still applied. Even if the game is rev.A, I suppose it's not that different from VF5FS.

If you think it's an useless idea I wont do it, but I thought it could help newcomers since many people are beguining VF with final shodown.

 

I think translating the Masters' Guide is a great idea. Jonas was so kind to already translate that one page on Goh tactics a few days back, and I think it was very helpful overall (it revealed Goh's hidden option-select in the form of Tsukamigaeshi-Kumiteharai).

The way we set up the translation of that page might still be of use to you guys. I simply created a drawing sheet on GoogleDocs, put the image of the scanned page on one side, and a few text boxes on the other for the translators to fill in (see here).
