IM OFFICIALLY IN HEAVEN!!!

Well, well... Monster Hunter won't be my only reason to get a 3DS, now. This actually sounds pretty cool. It seems to me that SEGA is pushing to promote Virtua Fighter in general, most likely for the sake of Final Showdown, but moreover, it looks as though they're making an effort to establish Akira and Pai more thoroughly as the main characters of the series. At least, that's how it looks to me.

'Course, it's highly doubtful that it'll see a US release. Is the 3DS like the DS, in the sense of being region code-free?

No, Nintendo were very nice and decided to make the 3DS region locked for 3DS games (it's not region locked for normal DS games though). You can't even do cross region multiplayer on certain games (my girlfriend and I couldn't play Four Swords Adventure in multiplayer together because she has a US 3DS and I have a PAL one).

Yeah, I know, and thank goodness for that.

The last thing I want to hear is a rushed dub of so many great characters. I'd play on the Japanese voice setting, anyway. Glad they're not wasting their time with English voice acting.
