Now, I'm no master of reading japanese. In fact, I can barely read any. And it's a bitch getting through some of the menus in VF4. Has anyone found a translated version of the menu system? Perhaps we should put one together for people like myself who end up unintentionally returning to the main menu :p

    cheers,

Don't know if this'll help much, but in training the one at the very bottom of the menu will return you to the main menu. The one right above it will return you to character select.

in training trials... first option is "redo current training session" .. second is "go on to next session" (handy!)... fourth is "go back to training menu" where you can pick any session.

Ok, so WTF did I unlock when I completed all the training again? I musta missed this. I got a treasure chest but no obvious new toys.

yup...hopefully someone will make a translation....it's a pain going through some of the menu with all the Japanese writing....While trying to create a fighter...I accidently kept saving for a new character when the game kept asking me to save....?? I didn't realize I have to EXIT instead of keep pressing the X button....damn..><

Has anyone figured out what the other items are on the status screen in character edit. I know that one is the VF1 costume and another is use P+K+G to get an old win pose. I have one more there and I can't figure out what it is. I tried using P+K to get another win pose but that didn't seem to do anything...

When you complete training, you get a gold trophy over your life bar when you're fighting with that character.
