I'll probably go HDTV and Blue-ray in the next year so getting a PS3 (60 gig) with VF5 is a good investment considering a Blue-ray player is like 1000$ and up.

Everything about the PS3 sounds so impressive though...I hope MS has an ace up its sleeve other than price. I'm going to preorder my PS3 as soon as possible.

Ice, did you even SEE the Sony press conference? The games looked like absolute ASS aside from VF5 (Tekken 6 was especially LOLtacular). The only games I'm hearing anyone getting excited over are VF5 and <s>Phantasy Star</s> Final Fantasy XIII. Sony's really screwed up, big-time, and they are probably going to spend the rest of the show doing damage control - especially since the Nintendo and MS press conferences are tomorrow...

Damn this is kinda depressing. With all this shit thats been coming out, namely the huge price tag ($659.00 Cdn!), I wonder, do we really need PS3 atm? PS2 still seems to be going strong, in fact there's a steady stream of titles that are still coming out, so I just don't see the need for a PS3 any time soon.

I mean FFXIII? We haven't even got XII yet. Blue Ray, who frickin needs it? I have to say overall, I'm kinda disappointed at what next gen is atm. So far X360 and PS3 aren't all that impressive, maybe Nintendo will surpriose us with something.

I think I'll be sticking with my PS2 for awhile longer.
