Looks hot. Wish it came in silver, though. I still want a gunmetal grey PS3 to go with my current one. This pricedrop plus uncharted 2 should give Sony a good holiday season.

Uncharted was actually pretty good. I've got high hopes for the sequel.

its great that u can still swap the hdd with the ps3 slim. Storage space can run out pretty fast with all the games, music, etc

Seriously, fanboy jibes belong in JHS cafeterias . For the record , Halo 3 is 640 p native, Killzone 2 is 720p. 360 Ninja Gaiden 2 is 576 p native, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is 720p, so are you sure you want to ride the system wars train?? M$oft is dedicating $1 Billion to solve the RROD problem this year, so I trust we wont see a 360 slim until they get over that hump. Four years and counting...... Still gotta love VF5 online and Lost and the damned though.

I spend an equal amount of time online with VF5 and MGO 2 , so Im sitting on the fence with this one.

You and me both. My 360 is only used for VF5 version C and my PS3 is up and running as a dedicated Metal Gear Online server at the moment.

Considering that the failure rate of the 360 as a system is 54% I don't understand how anyone could be an objective fan of that console.

The PS3 has been able to output DTS-HD for awhile now. Since firmware 2.3

SCEA announced that the latest PS3 update, 2.30, would bring the ability to decode DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS-HD HighResolution Audio tracks, that is to say, Blu-ray audio at variable bit rates up to 24.5Mbps, and 7.1 streaming of 96K/24-bit tracks.

    Dead Space+DTS=Heart Attack.
