PS3 VF5 Bug - framerate drop or game slow down

I have VF5 on PS3 with firmware 1.90

sometimes when im playing it looks like the framerate gets really slow/low or the game really slows down.


Has any else experienced this problem? I just started seeing this problem and I have been playing this game for a long time now, ever since it came out.

I just want to clarify that this slow down happens just for a second or two and it happens randomly during a match

Never had that problem. I've seen problems with Jeffry's threat /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, where it caused other PS3s to black out for a second, but it never happened on mine.

 

It happens most frequently on the City stage. It's also a bit dependent on customisation.

Equip both characters with green light bracelet and green light...foot...thing, and equip with the shiniest possible outfit.

Turn on commentary

Play the City stage

i think thats it.

i was playing arcade mode with commentary and thats when i started noticing the lag.

I had been playing quest mode without commentary and never noticed.
I play as el blaze with light bracelet in quest mode.

I turned on commentary in quest mode and then noticed the lag right after playing as el blaze with light bracelet


I will have to try again without commentary and see what happens

 

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. I've noticed that samething with me as well. This weekend my TV was lagging on some stages and it never happened until I downloaded the 1.9 firmware. I always play with commentary and I have never had lag like this.

 

I thought it was a T.V. thing because I know DFG has a nice setup. It's happened to me before as well, kind of weird.
