PSN Good Games

GGs to everybody in Pai~Chun's Room: Ivor_Biguns, edgemis, Manjimaru and of course, Pai~Chun (I was really impressed by the fact that you can play with so many characters). It was awesome and had lots of fun!!! Thanks guys.

Also, GGs to Valakrie (your Aoi is amazing and way out of my league), RafaelLew (sorry for the bad connection buddy), my teammate Jun_Chikara (your Akira can be very scary), Imperfecto-, fowles76 and all the new players I've met today.

Heh, ggs Shinobi/Spiros, and the others mentioned above there. I knew Ivor would be using Pai, and as I'm not that keen on mirrors (unless training), I thought I'd spin through the cast a bit. Hope you liked the Lion surprise briefly there I was pleased the room kept stable for around 2 hours, with no desync. First time I ever hosted one on PSN so glad it went well, thanks everyone.

The only reason I was able to play as much in the morning was because my boss didn't mind me working from home most of the time. Suddenly management is all up in his ass and I must drive to the office -_-. Sadly, they won't let me bring my PS3 with me...

Rush_2112TypeR? Nah, that's not one of mine. He's fun to play against though. Extremely offensive. Would love to see a match between him and Hoyati.

As for your Eileen, once I stop getting confused by all the jumping around and what not I'll put up a better fight.

Sorry I haven't been on as much as I used to BG. TBH, I've been a little down on VF as I've been spending as much time in the lab as I can (thanks to not having a viable internet connection for a long time) to not see commensurate improvement in my game . My hands just haven't been able to keep up when I play on Pad at the high level speed and when I switch to stick, my movement just hasn't seemed to pick up. My guess is that I broke a bone in my stick hand when I was playing football and it has made all the double tap techniques (i.e. EDCTE) really inconsistent for me no matter how hard I practice (also, I don't have the built in dexterity from years of years of stick as I always played on pad).

That being said, the fun sets I had with Brodi and JaLoHa21(sorry about that lagfest) did spark a little of my desire to play VF again. I'll probably try to get some more games in now and then as part of the morning crew when I can.

What is it with pais and 1k,k ???

 

As long as it is used as an anti evade tool or counter hit tool it is good if it is used for anything else I would be worried about the use of 1KK so was it used as an anti evade or counter hit move blondie

 

Biggest problem with 1KK is like with Goh 2PP or Lion 2KK. The Game just doesn't want to recognize You pressing 2G(online that is).As an anti HighCH fisher or ST it's fine but my hit limbs always cringe when I see it hitting on NH.

 

Now you have to find someone else to put that dc in vfdc lol, i am retired from that remember.

 

GGs to Maki, olddirtybastard (sp?), daRockReaper, General ripper, Spiros, DigitalSamurai, ufch (sp?), Rush, and a few other people who I've played!

 

Ever tried it? Move is amazing as long as your opponent doesn't duck it. Goes under high's and catches side steps some times not to mention it's a Natural Combo off of CH. It's a good sting when you have no idea what to do, so if I catch you with it the flow of the match changes considering it knocks you down. (Plus it's a bad habit I have)

 

The best thing to use when Pai doesn't know what to do should be 6P not 1KK. 6P has more range and can hit people when they are outside of your own 2P range where they can't fight back as well as they want. It also stuffs all forms of 1KK on reaction too. You should be using 6P more and its -4 on block and plus on hit. 1K is minus on hit and block too

 

I guess it was my fault. I am publicly denouncing 1k,k as you can still dodge the low kick and duck the rdhs for nasty punish . I would find a more lethal move if you think your going to ch . Just my two cents. 1k,k is a little spammy and hugely punishable
