Public Apology

VFDC and friends,

I'd like to take this time to publicly apologize to everyone in regards to recent negative posts in the BTBH thread. Although I am not the one who published those malicious and derogatory posts, I feel that I am 100% responsible for allowing it to happen. Rest assured that I have changed my password, and do not plan on sharing it again. With that said, I am especially apologizing to the following people:

...and anyone else who had to witness what transpired recently and in the past. I'm not asking any of you to respect me nor do I expect anyone to forgive me. I just want everyone to know that VF was once my true passion. I've sacrificed so much to become Chief Flash, and this is definitely not how I want my name to be perceived in the end. Throughout the years, I have accomplished a lot for this small community, and I am proud to be able to say that I am one of the very few who have represented VF outside of Japan on a grand scale (WCG2009). However, none of that matters without your support. If it wasn't for you all, I would have never achieved such a milestone.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I want to announce that I am retiring from the competitive scene as well. The road to victory was an unforgettable journey for me. I met the most amazing people from this game and it is the single most memorable aspect of my journey. Although the fire still burns, it is not the same flame that once stood for inspiration and humbleness, and quite frankly, I'm just not that good in this game anymore.

Well, I hope that this clears the air for some of you. With regards to the game of VF, especially to those who are on the same journey as I once were, if you would like to train and improve your game, I am willing to be your training dummy. Just don't be surprised if there is another player in The Room to train you as well.

I'd really like to thank you for the guidance and inspiration you (and Shang) gave me when I first picked up FS and wanted to get involved in the competitive scene. Your direct styles changed my outlook on the game, and forced me to greatly improve.

Sad to hear you're hanging it up, but good to know you'll still be around in The Room. Nothing but the best to you, sir!

 

You are still the best Wolf in my book and one of my mentors Chief_Flash. No harm done my friend. Do know that I still have you on my VF Hitlist and I hope to get a chance to play you more for fun of course, but always know that it has been an honor fighting you and an honor learning from you. Whenever Wolf is mentioned, you have always been the first name I mentioned in response. You will be missed in the competitive scene, but I believe the door will always be open for you Flash should you ever decide to walk through! Thank you for all that you do and bring to VF in its entirety! God bless you!
