1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

    Hey man,

Rich and I have ones from Red Octane and we modded them (w/ wood) and they have lasted quite some time... Havn't had any experience with the mad katz ones, but havn't heard really good things about them...

Play DDR in the arcade. Its the only way to go. You may look stupid but if you like the game that shouldnt matter. If you have seen me in person, im the last person who should be on a dance dance machine. But I get up there all the time.

I don't like to drive 3 hrs each way to have to play a game...no matter what it is...and the possibility to have this game in my apartment to play with my drunk friends is irresistable.

I have a Mad Catz one, and it's been through moderate abuse for a few months and it still works pretty well. Plus, they're usually pretty cheap (I got it for $10, but they're usually $20 or so I think) and slightly larger than most other pads.

    How is it with slipping?

I realize you're asking about MadCatz, but have you seen this controller?

Haven't used it, but it seems like the right idea.

I measuerd the pads and then went out to home depo night rich and i got them and had the guy cut some wood to fit them... The wood was thick and not too expensive because it was for indoor use...

And yeah playing in the arcade is the best I think, but you can practice up and play at home...

It doesn't slip more or less than any other plastic DDR pad.
