There are no good guides for the PS2 version of Evo, especially of the American/European versions.

I think that the game is pretty complete teaching you everything you need to know. But is you are like many people that like to buy strategy guides as a collectors thing, then consider the Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution Perfect Guide, which is in Japanese, although some stuff are in English. But I don't think there's a good guide in the US/Europe in English. You can order the guide in this site: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/animebooks-com/vifi4evpegu.html. Is kind of expensive, but I think this is a very good one.
