Ranking (I've searched and read link from home page)

    After getting to 2nd Dan again, I have a question on ranking. The ranking guide says "same rank" opponent count towards ranking points. Does that mean all other fights are meaningless towards ranking? I could beat 5 6th Dans for example and get no points? It would make more sense to me if it was equal or higher for '+' points and equal and lower for '-' points.
