Red Dead Redemption

So excited about this! billed as the followup to the sub-par original xbox game red dead revolver.... this game features an all new protaganist in a sprawling frontier open world setting(3rd person).

Uses GTA4's graphics engine(looks very similar graphically in trailers and screenshots, which is a good thing) and has been spoke of as being "GTA wild west". players will travel through "the frontier" "Mexico" " and "the north" and play through a huge amount of missions and sidequests, as well as hunting over 40 types of animals. Looks absolutely epic in scope and seems very ambitious.

Travel will be done mostly on horseback, but other modes of transport will supposedly be available. As a huge fan of westerns (greatly enjoyed neversofts "GUN" as well) I cannot wait for this game... hopefully being released sometime next year.

I think the first one (Red Dead Revolver) would have been better off it stayed in Capcoms hands, Rockstar totally failed with it.

 

It was bad... definitely didn't enjoy it at all.
