Rematch in lobbies - bug?

Is the rematch option in lobbies bugged? It works only very rarely, regardless of how many wins are set (2, 3, 5, etc.)

Most of the time the players just get dropped back to the lobby after a match, even after choosing rematch.

Does anyone have a reliable solution?

 

Some streamers have posited that waiting for the win-pose animation to finish is the solution - if you mash replay immediately the game seems to bug out.

 

It's really finicky but waiting does the trick as long as you don't wait too long to hit replay. I've found that doing it at 9 seconds works almost every time. Thanks.

Still very annoying to play lobby matches since you can't skip winposes and so on. That stuff adds up some significant time real fast.
