It was a arcade located on broadway btw 58 and 59 Street. They had the best machines and the place was actually pretty clean considering that it was a arcade. People came from everywhere to this place to hang out and play their classic and modern pinball to the hottest fighting game at the time which was Street fighter. I use to remember there being 4 to 5 machines of SF and it was always packed during the weekends. Oh the good old days, what memories./versus/images/icons/smirk.gif

Dude, that place is gone? No way. I lived in NY (Astoria, Queens actually) for 8 months or so 2/3 years ago...never could find anyone to play vs. on the vf3 machine they had then, but the galaga/ms pacman machine upstairs featured my invincible galaga high score for as long as I was around. Shit.

    Some corrections. /versus/images/icons/blush.gif
Broadway Arcade was between 52nd and 53rd. it was the best arcade for its time. Capcom used to have big events when they would release a new game there. They closed down in '96-'97 /versus/images/icons/frown.gif

Broadway Arcade only had one floor (ground). Sanjuro, you're probably thinking about Broadway City. Which is located on 42nd St between 7 & 8 Ave which is still functional. BA and BC were owned and operated by the same guy actually. No hardcore gamers goes to Broadway City due for extreme prices. $1.25 to play VF, T4 and CVS2. /versus/images/icons/shocked.gif
