Hello, my friend told me about a bug (?) in PS2 version of VF4. He said he was able to ring out the opponent once over a high wall with Kage's [4][P]+[G][8][P]+[G]. Couldn't reproduce it then though /versus/images/icons/wink.gif Is it possible?

Yes, this is possible. I have seen it myself. I was playing my friend and he is an exclusive Kage user, and he did the [4][P]+[G] when his back was near a wall (his back was literally against the wall) and he threw his opponent out. This was on Jacky's stage (the City). I havent really tried this on any other stage, but my friend has been trying to do it ever since.

But the bottom line is that it is possible to throw the opponent out of the ring on an unbreakable wall with Kage.

NOTE: If you want to do this move, you cant do the last part. The move goes [4][P]+[G] [8][P]+[G], but dont do the last part, or else he will stay in the ring.

City stage is not a high wall... it's a low wall, and you can RO with either tft, tft-izuna drop, tft-knee etc. I meant high walls like the ones in Cave stage.

someone posted a while ago that they'd RO'd over shun's wall also, and I can't find any way to get it... if it works, it's similar to the VF3 glitch where people slipped through the wall in lau's great wall stage and went out?

I've been trying to reproduce it with various character-wall positioning, but to no avail... my friend says he got it in cave and high-walled training stage. As I can see, some people saw it too... so it's a glitch I guess. Someone cap it please /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

Make sure Kage's back is as near to a low wall as possible and an oppnent is next to you. Now do the TFT - drop...there ya go, easy /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

Well ive tried several times to throw somebody over the cave stage and i could not do it??????

I like it better when you fully execute the TFT near a wall(preferably the temple stage) and you go out of the ring along with your opponent ...........ouch..............

Also, has anyone ever been playing against sarah and she pulled off her high somersault and landed outside the ring

I've been telling all the time... if you can RO the opponent out, it's a BUG - there have been reports of people doing it. I'm just curious who else did it. :p

Oh cool! This trick will completely change the way I play the game with my Kage (Intercepte) thanks everybody for telling me this!

Be sure to check my poem about Kage (just down the page from this thread, called "A poem about Kage-Maru or something) /versus/images/icons/grin.gif

So far, I know NOTHING on how to perform this "trick" hehe... maybe it requires some angle in a stage, no idea. But since quite a few people did/saw it, it guess it's perfectly possible.

it probably only works on certain areas of the cave stage, like where the wall is lowest.

The height of the wall has nothing to do with it... because even in training stage, where the wall isn't that high, you can't RO because the character is thrown into an invisible barrier over the wall.

I kinda thought that u could do it. Hey when he did it, did he say what happen when the character hit the water. If the water splashed or reacted to the character fall in then its probley not a glitch. And if so, have you tried the same thing on Vanessa's stage. It has High Walls also.

    either way, it doesn't matter.
with TFT and a wall, the damage gets insane, eg,
TFT, wall hit , knee, ppb+pk, pounce.
    a lorra lorra damage!

What do you mean "doesn't matter"? In my opinion the possibility of ROing the opponent over a high wall is interesting. Damage had nothing to do with Slutty's post.

Hi, it looks like this isn't doable. But TFT, dragon punch, turn towards punch (TT P,K,G) -> kickflip is doable for about half your life.

Still, half their lifebar wouldn't be as good as an instant win so testing continues for this trick..
