Rise to Honor

anyone play it yet? anyone own it? i am thinking about buying it. it looks real cool. is it worth buying?

 

The game looks pretty good, and it good great reviews, you atack with the right control stick and not with the square or triangel etc... I was going to buy it but I chosed 007:EON instead, guess Ill just rent it and if I like it just keep it.

 

Just about everything I've read or heard of the game says it sucks. I would have been pretty happy if the game turned out well... but it definitely doesn't seem that way.

However, that right analog control scheme for directional attacking could really make the game insanely boring. I imagine that's almost exactly the case too.

hehe, the review I read was from GamePro and it gave it a 5.0(Perfect), every other review says it sucks. I played in an Arcade yesterday(A PS2 Arcade) and it was pretty good, atleast worth a rental.

 

I consider www.Gamepro.com, www.gamegen.com, and www.Gamers.com the most reliable sources.

 

Worth a rental... has some pretty unique ideas but kind of falls short in execution. However I had fun playing the game for a little. It actually has a level in the Metreon in San Fransisco, where I used to work. That was bad ass =)
