Hi there, first let me state that i like this game a lot.

I am trying to learn playing vs more dedicated people and i use private sessions for that.

However the lobby options in VF5 FS are somewhat lacking. Tha biggest frustration that i have is when 2 people have to wait for 30+ seconds before they start a match? Thats 30 seconds for the host and 4-5 for 2P.

At this point i have given up on wishing for a fukin REMATCH option in fighting games, but this issue in VF5 FS really makes the matches run SLOW.

I am pretty sure that playing online with random people using the quick match and the custom setting is actually faster than play a private match in a hosted lobby.

Is there any way around it?

People can't join mid match, the 30 seconds is there so people can join. I'll admit it does make the lobbies a little slow but you can always pass the time by chatting if you get on the mic [IMG]

Ok that makes sense. However the same rule for 30 seconds applies even when u hosted a game for 2 players and 1 private slot. In this case it just makes the matches slower [IMG]

Using the quick match for 1v1 will be the way to go i think.

If you're doing 1v1, just use player match. No point in using the lobbies unless you have at least 3 players.

They should allow you to make private player matches so you can just invite a friend to spar 1 on 1.

They need to just make a ready up option in the lobby. If you invite someone and you're waiting on them to join, just don't select "Ready" or pause the clock. But if the Room is full and nobody can join, we should be able to just start the next match.
