Saddam's Sons are Dead, any thoughts?

I am gonna post thoughts once they show the dead bodie, they might show 'em tomorrow.

The news only ran the story for like 10 minutes. If officers say it, I think it is true.

Do you have any thoughts on the matter? What's the situation with his duaghters, are they still seeking exile?

 

You mean asylum? Not sure about the daughters, I'm reading the news as it comes in on my bloomberg terminal. Apperently Uday had tried back door contact to try and secure asylum and a pardon. Guess it didn't work...

 

Something tells me that this is going to stir up alot of shit and get the whole middle east (and possibly other parts of the world) pissed off. And wouldn't have been better to capture them for interrogations on the whereabouts of Iraq's WMD ? Go figure.

 

They tried to detain, but apparantly someone in the house shot a BB gun or something, so all 800 military guys unloaded a few clips each into the house, making use of the armies moto: "Shoot first ask questions later".

 

I don't understand why you want other people to post their thoughts but will reserve your own until you get to look at a corpse.

From what I've read, it was no secret they were hiding in the neighborhood. Cheers to the informant - he deserves the money for the balls alone. I'm not saying I'm glad they're dead (although they probably deserved it more than most serial killers in the free world) but it shows courage to go against the waves. I suppose $30M in bait could do it.

I think the US should offer visas for the informants families and intensive language lessons as well to sweaten the deal.
