1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Hey SoCal guys, I'm gonna be in San Diego, December 14th - 23rd. I'm staying at a condo in downtown (right next to the convention center). It's a solo trip and I'll sorta be living there for a week so to speak.

I'm interested in a VF get-together or two, and I did mention it to Mike90210.

It's been awhile, I am rusty because I'm not devoted to the game much anymore... But I hope to meet up with some old pals, meet some new ones, and maybe provide some competent competition (I'm hoping).

I miss the old Chanchai-Spotlite battles and I had so much fun playing against Andy at UCLA. And all the SD guys back then were a tight group. (And I heard they got really strong too, but it's mostly Mike now, huh?).

Is anyone up for meeting up? I really miss playing competitive VF outside of Oregon...

My VF4 Evo experience is very limited, but I've been playing it now and then, here's a quick rundown:

    - Lion is still my most competitive character, I like to believe he's way better than before, but he's probably the same. Still, I took pride in my Lion. Expect the passive-aggressive Chanchai play: pokes, zoning, multi-range play, and as Spotlite knows too well--GAMBLING.

    - My Aoi is pretty rusty and behind the times. Expect it to be similar to how it was back at E3, with some Evo modifications.

-My Akira's much better now, but I don't think good enough to play decent VF players. Execution is mostly fine (well, it's not like he's harder to use than in previous VF games), but it's such a basic Akira that I expect most people to understand how to beat it like they should understand how to handle a Jacky. Just way too bread and butter.

I play Goh quite a bit too, but I bet he sucks on a competitive level. I haven't tested him on that many human players, but he's so much fun to use imo.

I'm rusty, but it won't matter too much anyways imo.... at all previous gatherings I've been to, I've always been a slow-start. I play pretty mediocre, sometimes good for the first couple hours... then I eventually warm up, start to realize what I have to do with my game, and play a bit better as time goes by. I'll try to bring my level up a notch in hopes of bringing competitive VF to you guys if we all meet. However, some things really don't leave you for too long--so I'm confident that I can pose a challenge to some people at least.
