Saving Streaming Videos

Hi ppl its been awhile since ive been here.

I dont know if yall remember that thread from while back, where it told you how to save streaming videos, but i really need to know how. As far as i can remember i think it was only for Windows Media Player but can some one tell me if the thing is compatible with Real player.
