FYI guys I'm finally getting around to using a second character--Lei Fei. So if any one plays me and I suck really bad--well--my bad. Or if I use the cheapest possible moves--my bad again.

If any Lei players see me on and want to spar, send me an invite. You can just play normally, that's how I learn.

BTW does Lei have any type of move that can easily stop incoming attacks/strings? I'm talking about something that is the equivelent of Lau's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

Lei has an auto punch catch that stops all punches high, low, or mid and all lei has to do is stand still and catch them. A lot of his moves also sabaki just about everything thrown at him and they would be comboed afterwards still. I really hate it when he does that.

He has many options that negate basic strings.

Yeah I know about that auto counter one. When I first started playing Lei Feis I was like "Damn these guys are awesome at countering from that stance!!!" not knowing that the move only requires you to stand there, LOL.
Ive got to say though playing a different character in VF is like a whole new game. In Tekken (dont get me wrong I love Tekken) virtually every character plays the same. In VF it seems like you have to drastically change the way you play. At least that's the way it seems now...

3 pk, or 9pk is lei's shut down move for incoming strings. It is one of the best moves on the game. after 3 pk, p, then stance change twice 8 pkg, 8 pkg then do the 2k stagger low. It is off the hook. and has major evasiveness

I'm pretty sure it's the only half-circular (mid) in the game where you can choose which direction you want it to travel in.

FANTASTIC POINT!!!!! Also this means become comfortable doing it both directions!! I can't tell u how many games i've lost cause i've done 3 pk 350,000 times and 9 pk 150 and i know my opponent is going to evade up yet my habit of 3 pk gets me hung out to dry.

I appreciate the input guys. I'll definatley use it--as well as the other threads on the forum. Right now I'm mainly staying in dojo and periodically taking Lei for "test drives" online.

My biggest temptation is switching to my main (Lau) after I get whooped by someone I know normally wouldn't even give me a challenge.
