Special Update: GameClucks (who is running this tournament and providing a lot of gear) is requesting help from the community--2 setups for the Final Showdown Tournament (and I am guessing for casuals too).

This would ensure that everything runs smoothly and on schedule as GameClucks normally does it (have to give credit to them, their events run very much on schedule from what I have seen, but my perspective is very limited on non-Portland events).

And even if you cannot support a station, please let other Seattle-Area players know!

A lot of people are still recovering from Evo (and I think some people spent the weekend making up for lost family time during Evo lol), so as usual across the whole country, attendance was lower than usual this weekend.

That said, the results are in for Saturday Slugfest! I will copy and paste the message I got from Loz, but not before I congratulate Jason Cole on winning the Slugfest!

Special thanks to the community for bringing setups!

Will anything be happening around PAX time?

You know, that's a great idea!

I won't be making the trip up to Seattle for this year's PAX, but let's see what we can get going around PAX time to welcome VFers that will be in the Seattle area for the convention!

I will see if something can be done. Maybe even have an organized meet/greet/play in the consoles area as well as an outside event/party.

Thanks for that inspiration, Zero-chan! Wish we could hang out at PAX this year, but next time ^_^

But if you ever want to extend your Pacific Northwest Stay, we can arrange something in Portland [IMG] You can even take a Bolt Bus from Seattle to Portland and back for about $5-25 per way (usually it's around $15)!
