Secret Stage (Not Dural) and other goodies.

Hello all, great board! I've been fooling around editing virtua fighter 4 PS2 trying to mess with the character models and stumbled on something. There is a stage called "VIP" stage, which is a secret stage in the game..I was able to load about 80 percent of it without it crashing, but I have no idea how you get to it normally. It's basically in a house (Yu Suzuki's?) and you are mouse sized, while everything else is HUGE Books, Teacup, Laptop, and the ring floor is neon. I'm guessing this stage is a reward for the best of the best in kumite..so if you don't want spoilers don't click on the rm file! wow! That's nuts. But one question: Did you put everything back to normal afterwards? or is that hard to do once you mess with everything?

Since VF4 is on a cd, you can (theoretically) open the files on your computer. I think this may be how he did it.

Dude those are hilarious... the ones with Pai had my ribs splitting and made my stomach hurt I was laughing so hard!! Jesus, I still have tears in my eyes.

Please tell me how to do this hex editing thing because it'll be a source of nonstop laughs!

 

Actually, you wouldn't need a DVD drive. A regular CD drive would work /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

 

frankly speaking that's cool, all those stages, how to get them?
u say u get them cos u r the best of best? so how to get it, i am really interest in getting the stages, can anyone kindly reply to me or private msg me how to get the stages?

The VIP stage is the only real secret stage, the others are mixed stages, like pais background with jacky's foregrounds etc. I'm working on a REMIX disc with all altered stages. I couldn't figure out how to mix moves or change the actual character models, but maybe I'll get a revelation.

I think that funky Dural stage is wolfs stage but with no caged arena.

 

Hey Killingarts do you know how to get that VIP stage? I mean if you know how to hex edit and stuff, shouldn't you be able to look through the code and find how to get it? Oh well Id really like to know how to get it. Looks pretty cool.
