Anyway, I think this is clear message that VF series is over for sega:
"The series continued until “Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown”."

So, what is the announcement at 25 march?..

It's now or never for Virtua Fighter 6, not in 5 years, not in 10 years...

Just look at all the hype recently ? Look at how people kept asking for VF6 the last 5 years...

60th SEGA anniversary and 2020 is far from over, it feels like the right time for an announcement.

I don't think fans will wait 8 more years for VF6, but after all this time since VF5FS... Look at how people really love this game.

I am not sure what to expect and when to expect it anything, but again realistically , I don't think it will be developed.for.current gen at all...

I somehow think it's actually easier to get a current gen release of VF5FS but then again next gen is at the doors so maybe it's better to just ask for it then ? ( Or will it.be fully compatible ? )

Anyway, I am not losing hope.. will continue to wait and be ready for disappointments.

In the 90s section under the Daytona USA picture there is a sketch of Jeffrey facing off against Segashiro. Since he is a new mascot that means they went out of their way to create it.

The disrespect it's unbelievable! Why the 6? Why the fighting pose with the gi? In the video promo he isn't even wearing the gi nor fighting so why teasing us like that with him wearing full gi AND in a Akira Yuki fighting stance? So unnecessary and cruel. Really cruel. Low blow.

Was this whole thing just a video series for Segata Jr.? Did they not announce a new game or something cool? Literally nothing?

According to the message form their president they are "planning a variety of special contents" for their anniversary, but that can just mean promotional events.

Anyone else notice that the "6" was in the font used for the numbering on Yakuza games? Clearly this implied an updated re-release of Yakuza 6! How dare they make fun of the loyal Yakuza fanbase in this way! The disrespect!
