Scroll down a bit and you'll see where the interview begins. The thing the surprised me is that the person whose ring name is commonly written in romaji as "Segirl" is a guy. (o_o I might attempt (key word "attempt") a translation if I can find time between midterm study and VF4. But SummeRs will likely get to it before me, hehe...

from the post, he said that he was looking for name before entering a competition. Supposedly, a sega commercial had a monkey that said "segaru" ... so he borrowed it for his name.

 

I remember reading about that commerical in Next Generation. Supposedly, it had two monkeys, one was named Segaru and was playing VF on Saturn, the other was called Ansonii (Anthony) and was playing Starblade Alpha on PSX, and eventually the one playing PSX gets up and walks away.

Another mystery unveiled.
