Server Help (It keeps rebooting)

Okay I need some help from you guys.

I have a server, which have worked perfectly for over one year now.
But suddenly 2 weeks ago, it started rebooting automatically.
The frequency of the reboots were random, sometimes it could go 5-10 minutes before rebooting but other times only 30 seconds.

After checking the hardware without finding any errors, I assumed that Windows 2000 Server had bailed on me.
So I decided to format that shit, but after formatting I can’t even install Win Server, because the rebooting problem is still there.

It’s like 2-3 minutes tops and then it reboots again, sometimes when I turn off and on the power.
The computer makes a beeping sound; it beeps around 4-5 times and then the screen goes black.
I turn the power on, and then it might happen that the computer starts up, or the same beeping continues and leaves me with a black screen.

    WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!
I have built the thing myself, along with all my other computers, other times when I have faced problems like this.
Formatting would always help, but not this time.

So now I’m back at thinking that there must be a hardware error somewhere, but where?

    RAM
    Graphic card
    Hard disk
    CPU
    Main board

    What could it be?

My Server has the following specs.

    Pentium III 800 MHZ
    256 MB SDRAM
ATI RAGE 16 MB Graphic card
Two hard-drives, one 20 GB with 5200 RPM, and another one with 80 GB 7200 RPM.

I must add that everything had worked perfectly for over a year, but suddenly just out of the blue it started with this rebooting crap.
Please help me, this is driving me crazy.

    Thanks

Is your CPU overclocked? Maybe overheating?

Check the fan to make sure it's still working nicely, maybe invest in a heatsink or even a new processor?

    Hola...

No I don’t think it has anything to do with the heating.
The CPU is not over clocked, and the fan seems to be working fine.

Come on guys, somebody must have a couple of other suggestions. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The only other thing I know of...
try blowing all the dust and grit out of there with one of those aerosol cans and take off the front and check your reset button carefully, make sure it's not sticking or otherwise screwed up. You can even remove the button part entirely and just leave the little plastic pin sticking out.

Two solutions I found on google that may or may not help.

"In your BIOS and in Windows OS you need to disable automatic restart on errors. This will stop the reseting. It will also allow you to read the error message that is causing the reseting."

"I finally discovered that the problem was being caused by the integrated ethernet (LAN) built into my motherboard. I have since installed a PCI network card and it is now working properly."

I've got it now, but no time for celebration though some new problems acquired.
Yeah you just got to love those computers.
    Check you’re PM

another possibility could be your power supply is too weak.
